Recipe(tried): Sunflower Seed Pate

Misc.
Nikki - here is the recipe I have used several times though not for awhile now. It is taken from Harrowsmith vol. 2
1 Cup sunflower seeds
l potato peeled
l/2 cup whole wheat flour
l l/2 cups hot water
l large onion, minced
l/2 cup butter, melted
l l/2 tsp basil
l tsp thyme

Chop the sunflower seeds finely by hand or in food processor. Grate the potato. Combine all the ingredients and place in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for l l/2 hours. Pate will be moist. Serve hot or chill overnite before serving.
As you can see this not really spicey so you could add as it suits your taste. Hope you enjoy.
