In bread machine recipes I usually use room temperature liquids (70 to 75 degrees F). If the liquids are cold from the fridge, I warm them in the microwave, being careful not to get them so warm that they kill the yeast (over 110-F). As long as the liquids are in the 70 to 105 F range it should be okay for most recipes.
