OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE LOBSTER AND MUSHROOM TOPPING
I have made this on several occasions and Have even substituted shrimp instead of the claw meat. It's so YUMMY!!!!
2 Tbsp butter
4 oz button mushrooms sliced thin
1 tsp chopped chives
1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream
4 oz Lobster claw meat or shrimp, chopped
pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
black pepper to taste
In a medium skillet melt the butter on medium heat. Add mushrooms and chives and saute till tender.
Add the heavy cream, and reduce.
Add the (shrimp* if using, raw at the time of adding the cream) the lobster claw meat or cooked shrimp and warm thru.
ENJOY!
