Recipe: Thanksgiving Dinner Quantities for 100
Holidays, CelebrationsDear Yvonne,
I hope you are able to continue your tradition and I hope others will add their advice and encouragement for you. My best advice is find all the help you can and keep everything basic and simple. If you can find several people to roast the turkeys and bring them that will be a big help. Have the turkeys roasted unstuffed so you don't have to take time to dish out the stuffing when serving (and you won't have to worry about the stuffing inside the birds for too long). Shop your local Cosco, Sams or other such store donate foodservice size cans of cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, juices and soft drinks, paper plates, napkins, plastic forks, etc. If you let them know what your plans are they may donate some of the items. Check with your local food banks and ask if they have any food you can pick up to use for this or they may have sources for food donations that you can call. Also, you neighborhood grocery stores may be willing to donate turkeys. Below I'm including a chart for amounts of the basic turkey and fixings that you'll need to feed 100. I hope it will help you in making the preparations. If you can find a few good cooks to divide the cooking up with and make it an organized 'bring a dish' event. Just keep track of who's in charge of what dish so you don't come up short on the big day!
THANKSGIVING DINNER QUANTITES TO SERVE 100
Turkey: 100 lbs = 1 lb turkey per person
Stuffing: 75 cups (200 oz) = 2 oz stuffing per person

Gravy: 50 cups = 1/2 cup per serving
Vegetables: 50 cups each or two kinds = 1/2 cup per serving of two kinds
Rolls: 200 = 2 per serving
Pie: 13 pies = 1/8 of a pie per serving
Best of luck to you! Let us know how it turns out.
