Here they are--a different healthy snack idea for every day of the month:

1. Don't fight that sweet tooth. Try a handful of dried blueberries or cherries instead of cookies.

2. Drink your veggies in a glass of tomato juice or a blend: it counts towards
Five a Day.

3. Crunch on crisp slices of sweet, fiber-rich jicama.

4. Be a beany sneak with canned black beans pureed with salsa and lime juice. Enjoy with the jicama or baked tortilla chips.

5. Make a date your sweetie. Slip in an almond for creamy sweetness plus nutty crunch.

6. Enjoy fat-free cream cheese mixed with jelly on your morning bagel.

7. Bake a sweet potato and enjoy it straight from the oven (or microwave) for an old-fashioned, naturally sweet treat.

8. Spread mango chutney on whole wheat crackers for a tangy snack.

9. Whip up an icy caffeccino. Blend a cup of coffee with skim milk, sugar, and ice cubes and pour your own frothy coffee drink.

10. Be nutty. Nuts contain good nutrients, like selenium. Just one Brazil nut contains the recommended daily amount.

11. Crunch on a rice cake, topped with a slice of fat free cheese, mustard and a slice of tomato.

12. Have a real turkey roll. Cover a romaine lettuce leaf with lean, sliced turkey breast, tomato, and a spear of cucumber. Roll up and enjoy.

13. Gulp a grapefruit. Preferably a refreshing glass of calcium-fortified pink grapefruit juice.

14. Toss together crunchy snack mix of pretzel sticks, raisins, wheat cereal squares, and dried cranberries.

15. Dip into a bowl of salsa and baked corn chips to light up a dull afternoon.

16. Chug a glass of chocolate soymilk. You may be pleasantly surprised.

17. Rediscover raisin bread, toasted and spread with low-fat cream cheese or jam.

18. Go for classic simplicity. Enjoy a glass of skim milk with two chocolate wafer cookies.

19. Be corny. Munch an ear of steamed sweet corn in mid-afternoon.

20. Chill out with homemade cookies-n-cream sandwiches. Spread fat-free ice cream on chocolate wafer cookies and freeze in plastic wrap.

21. Escape the morning blahs with a chilled glass of exotic juice blend.

22. Ice yourself after a workout with frozen red grapes.

23. Smush an avocado and spread a tablespoon on warm whole wheat toast.

24. Go for the gold with grated carrots, tossed with raisins and a bit of orange juice.

25. Swirl applesauce and cinnamon into a cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt.

26. Whirl some frozen strawberries, a banana and orange juice for a fruit-ful mid-morning smoothie.

27. Bake paper-thin potato slices spritzed with cooking spray until crisp and brown. Sprinkle with chili powder, if desired, and munch.

28. Dip sourdough pretzels or carrot sticks in spicy mustard.

29. Throw a handful of cereal into a cup of yogurt to give it a crunchy kick.

30. Roast a fat comice pear at 450 degrees F until the skin is bronze and the inside soft as custard.

31. Whip up a bowl of your favorite fruit-flavored gelatin. Add lots of sliced fruits like banana, peaches and apple while it's chilling.
