TIGER COOKIES

Kellogg's Tony the Tiger inspired this great cookie recipe. It s been making chocolate fanciers happy for years.
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups Kellogg corn flakes
1 cup butter, softened (crushed to measure 1 1/2)
1 cup sugar
1 6-oz pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Stir flour, soda, salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well, adding flour, mixing until well combined. Stir in frosted flakes. Drizzle melted chocolate over dough. With knife, swirl chocolate through dough to achieve marbled appearance. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 12 minutes or less. Makes about 4 dozen cookies. "Stripe" tops of cookies with melted chocolate Punch a small hole in the corner of a plastic baggie and fill with the melted chocolate to "stripe."
