Recipe(tried): Tortilla pinwheels

Misc.
Pinwheels are very easy to make and are always a hit at parties. Vary the ingredients as you like and be creative, you really can't go wrong!

Flour tortillas
Garlic & herb cream cheese spread
Thinly sliced turkey breast
Fresh basil leaves
Roasted red peppers, cut into think strips

Spread the cheese over a tortilla. Place a layer of turkey over half of the tortilla. Put a row of basil leaves and a row of red peppers along side the turkey. Roll up and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate over night, or at least a few hours if you don't have a lot of time. Unwrap tortillas, cut off the ends and slice into wheels.

I also make several other kinds of pinwheels. Here are a few possibilities:
** cream cheese, spinach & tomatoes
** roast beef, cream cheese & salsa
** chopped tomatoes, olives & cucumbers mixed with cream cheese
