Tumbleweeds
Hi everyone! I have been lurking here for a few days. I really like it---great recipes and friendly chatters.

I'd like to share a recipe for today's topic.
My family loves these, they are easy to make, and I don't have to heat up the house with the oven. (It's been hot, humid, in the mid 90's all week.)

I got this recipe from Taste of Home, but have experimented a bit.

1 (12 oz.) can salted peanuts
1 (7 oz.) can potato sticks
3 cups baking chips*
3 Tab. butter

Combine peanuts and potato sticks. Melt chips and butter. Add to peanuts and potato sticks. Mix well; drop onto wax paper lined baking sheets. Chill until set. I store mine in a sealed container with wax paper between layers in the refrigerator.

*We prefer 1/2 peanut butter chips and 1/2 white chips. I have made them with several combinations and they are all good.

I can't wait to chat with all of you and share recipes.
