Recipe: Turnips and turnip roots
Misc. This is to Nadine in CO, the turnip is the green leafy part . The root in the round white part that stays in the ground. BTW, I don`t fix turnips, but I do get them occasinnally in restaurants. Traditionally in tje south they use alot of fat in them. Mostly when you refer to turnips you are referrin g to the greens.
