Recipe: Vegetable and Marrow Bone Soup

Here is one recipe using both those ingredients...Vegetable and Marrow Bone Soup
(serves 4)
Ingredients
2 marrow bones or 2 ham bones
12 C water
2 T + 4 T Kikkoman Soy Sauce
500g (approx. 1 lb.) boiling beef
1 onion studded with cloves
500g (approx. 1 lb.) potatoes
1/2 green cabbage
2 leeks, white parts only
3 carrots
1 celeriac root
Pepper, nutmeg
1 bunch parsley Method
Place marrow or ham bones in deep stockpot with the water and 2 T of soy sauce.
Bring to a boil, skimming frequently.
Add meat and clove-studded onion, simmer covered for 2 hours.
Remove meat and strain the soup.
Add potatoes, cabbage, leeks and carrots, all finely diced.
Allow to simmer another 20 minutes.
Dice the celeriac and cube the meat; add to soup after 10 minutes of simmering.
Season with pepper, remaining soy sauce and nutmeg. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
