Recipe(tried): We like homemade crandberry sauce

We like to put home made Crandberry sauce on our sandwhiches! mostly only do at thanksgiving time but always comment on how good it is and whay don't we do this other times .... like dugh .... who really makes the sauce other times?? I will this week!

home made crandberry sauce:
1 bag fresh crandberries
1 cup sugar plus a pinch or 2
1 cup water
allspice, nutmeg, cinomon, ginger >> to taste
I suppose orange juice would be a good add or subst. some h2o for it.

rinse berries and pick out bad ones and stems
put in pot with other items and boil -- stir as it gets hot, turn doen heat and let them simmer and "pop" till most are "popped" the longer you simmer the less "whole" it is but we like it underdone here.

WE never buy the canned stuff and the kids LOVE it! they make it too. did you know that you can buy bags of cranberries on sale and just throw as is in frezzer? they last a LONG time I have oh 10 bags from last yr as they were only 99 cents and i had planned on making dried crandberries but alas there they sit ... i'll make some sauce tonight!
