Recipe: WE LOVE cobblers and crisps

This is the one I use...easy.

2 quarts berries (your favorite or whatever is left combined)
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice
1 stick butter

ready made pie crust or make your own.
i use ready made.
In small pan over med heat combine ingredients.
not the crust.
Take the crust and roll to about 1/2 inch. Cut the
crust into strips about 1 x 6". Put the strips
an ungreased cookie sheet, sprinke with sugar
and bake 400 for about 10 mins.
Pour heated berry mixture into dessert
dishes- crumble hot crust on top of berries and mix
through ever so slightly.
Serve with big LUMP of ice cream.
