Peach Cobbler
Misc. Hi, Marc--
This is a cobbler my husband makes--you can use cherries or peaches--or probably any other fruit.
PEACH COBBLER
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. sliced peaches (we use frozen ones)
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar (this is not a duplication)
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
Pinch of salt
Pour 3/4 c. sugar over peaches and let stand. Melt butter or margarine in a casserole or baking pan. Make a batter of remaining 3/4 c. sugar, flour, baking powder, milk and salt. Pour batter into casserole. Then pour peaches over batter. Bake one hour at 350 degrees. (The batter ends up on top.)
