Recipe: Zesty Corn-Crisped Chicken (using soy sauce and corn flake crumbs) (Kellogg's, 1970's)

Main Dishes - Chicken, Poultry
ZESTY CORN-CRISPED CHICKEN

Have ready 1 (3-lb.) frying chicken, Cut Up. Wash chicken pieces and dry thoroughly.

Dip chicken pieces in mixture of 1 egg beaten with 1/4 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce.

Roll dipped chicken in 1 1/2 cups Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs. Place in a single layer, skin side up, in well-greased or foil-lined shallow baking pan; do not crowd.

Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F) about one hour, or until tender. No need to cover pan or turn chicken while baking.

Serve with additional soy sauce, if desired.

Makes 6 servings
