ISO: Advice on GF grill...

Misc.

I'm thinking about asking Santa to bring me a George Forman Grill for Christmas this year. I did a search and read most of the previous messages on this topic but I still have a few questions. For those of you who purchased a GF grill some time ago (I noticed alot of the posts were from over a year ago), do you still use it frequently or has it been banished to the back of your kitchen cupboard? Are you still happy with it? Also, does the meat you grill need to be a certain thickness or does it matter? Can you do sandwiches such as pannini (sp?)on it? Could anyone recommend a cookbook for use with the grill? I know I'm asking alot of questions here, but I just want to be sure it's something I'll really use. I'm thinking I would probably get the larger one since there are five of us. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated! I really value the opinions of all you wonderful cooks out there. When I was thinking of purchasing a slowcooker, I got some great advice here and recipes too. I bought one about a year ago and have been enjoying it and getting alot of use out of it ever since. Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice on the grill.
