ISO: biscuit-type dumplings served with melted butter or gravy
Misc.My Aunt used to make a sort of dumpling that our family called "neps" (I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right) They were just plain, fluffy biscuit type dumplings dropped into boiling water and served with melted butter and maybe gravy. Moist on the outside and a fluffy, cakelike middle. If anyone has a recipe I would appreciate it. I haven't had them since I was a kid and my Aunt has since passed away.
