ISO: Blonde or White or Vanilla Whoppie Pies

Misc.
I have been searching for a recipe for a vanilla or white whoopie pie. My husband is allergic to chocolate, but he loves whoopie pies. Can I make them simply without adding cocoa or is there a specific recipe? I've searched the Internet with no luck.
Thanks, Lisa
