ISO: Butterscotch pie

HELP!!!!!My mother-in-law who lives in Ohio gave me her mother's recipe for butterscotch pie,but I've lost it.
It was soooo old it had ingredients like "butter the size of an egg".I think it also called for egg yolks,flour,and brown sugar.PLEASE help,she expects it for Christmas dinner!!!
