ISO: Cherry Pie Filling

I wanted to find out if there is something else beside Clear Jel that I can use to make the filling thick....I want to make pie filling or just to cann the cherries. This is my first time trying Cherries....I wanted to freez some but can't find the item I need to freeze the cherries now I can't find the sure gel.

I live in a small town and just can't find much
