ISO: chila

recipe for chila (made with chana flour)
4 cups chana flour
enough water to make pancake constitueny approx 4 cups
1 egg
1 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
1 teaspoon fresh ground garlic
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped mint
2 tablespoons chopped basil
1 teaspoon salt
mix the 1st 2 ingredients and remove any lumps
add the remaining ingredients and mix together

turn heat to medium and warm the non stick frying pan
brush with oil
pour half cup of the mixture wait 3 minutes or until golden on one side
flip over and wait 3 minutes
remove from heat
repeat from *
makes about 16 chilas
serve with hot sauce or tamaind sauce
