Recipe: Toasty Pita Triangles (baked pita chips with cheese and herbs)
Appetizers and SnacksTOASTY PITA TRIANGLES
3 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh oregano or rosemary
3 pita breads (7-inch diameter)
3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Combine butter, parsley, and herbs. Spread butter mixture on pita breads. Sprinkle tops with cheese.
Cut each pita into 6 triangles. Place on baking sheets.
Bake until toasted, 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 servings
