ISO: Christmas open house for 50

Misc.
Having a Christmas open house for family and friends. Time is from 2-8pm. Expecting around 50-60 people - hopefully not all at once!!! Looking for recipes that can be made ahead if possible, I do love to cook, but am also making over 150 dozen cookies for gifts, so time is limited. Don't want to spend too much - I think it can still be nice without costing a lot. Party is just over a week away so need to start planning more.
Also need things that can stand, or be replenished easily. Don't want anyone to get food poisoning. This is what i thought of so far. Also, some people have asked what to bring - LOVE THEM - want to be prepared with suggestions. So far these are not set in stone - so let me know your ideas. Thanks much

Spiced Nuts
Mini quiches
Cocktail Weiners

Italien Beef - made in crockpot
Mini buns for beef
possibly chicken strips?
baked Ziti
Thought of doing a marinated veggie tray
Need some kind of veggies

Sweet Table
Outrageous Brownies
Cookie trays - with a lot of varieties
Cranberry bread

Any suggestions for punch???
