ISO: Dark Corn Syrup
Misc.Could anyone tell me what "dark corn syrup" is please, or at least an alternative?
I have a recipe for Jack Daniels Chocolate Pecan Pie from the Kay Scarpetta cookbook (Food To Die For: Secrets from Kay Scarpetta's Kitchen by Patricia Cornwell), and I don't know what it is! What you call Corn Syrup is what we call Golden Syrup, but we don't have another syrup that's darker apart from Black Treacle, (which you call Molasses I believe). So much for speaking the same language! :)
