ISO: Dear Jean Looking for recipe for Shoe soles

Did you try the Elephant Ears and did they taste like the shoe soles ?
I live here in the South and the only Bakery that did make them the lady passed away with the secret yummy Goo Gooeeey Recipe.
If you tried this let me know. It is my Birthday this month and I really want to try this if it even come close.
