ISO: Fruited Rice Salad

I found a recipe in a magazine back in the 80s for fruited rice salad. This recipe was cooked rice, pineapples, peanuts and thousand island salad dressing. It was then served on a bed of lettuce. I have lost the recipe. Everytime I made it, it was a big hit; my brothers, my then 6 year old son and his friends enjoyed it. I would like to make it agaiin. Please help!
