ISO: Garden (backyard) wedding reception - small

Misc.
Hosting ceremony & reception in my back yard for my mother & father-in-law (re-marrying after 15 years)! Desperately looking for "non-tacky" ideas to stick with a "picnic" style/semi-casual affair. 3:00pm ceremony end of May - thinking of sticking to sandwich/spread type foods but need sides. By the way - doing the food all myself & not expecting much help from husband's family members. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
