ISO: Gingerbread Cookie Recipe made with black coffee

Misc.
Years ago, I bought a cookie cutter for a gingerbread man that had a wonderful cookie recipe on the package. The trouble is I lost the recipe and have not been able to find a duplicate since! The recipe made a large quantity of very flavorful cookies with a dough that was very easy to handle. It also produced a very hard & dry cookie good for both eating and making tree ornaments. The distinct ingredient was very strong BLACK coffee! It contained no vinegar. Does anyone have a recipe like this?

Thanks!
