ISO: Ground beef layered casserole

Misc.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever made or heard of a casserole in which you layer ground beef, shredded potatoes and carrots and possibly onions and there is a tomato sauce throughout. My gramma used to make it and as she is older now, she can't remember the recipe or what it was called. It's delicious and I'd like to reincarnate it on my own dinner table now. Thanks for any help you can give!
