ISO: I forgot to remove the inner plastic covering of the ham before cooking

Misc.
I removed the outer plastic but didn't remove the THICK inner plastic and cooked it that way. When it was halfway done I checked for temperature and saw the "plastic", still intact itself but pulled away from the ham. Is the ham still okay?
