ISO: ice cream yule log

Misc.
A number of years ago I made an ice cream yule log--I think it was coffee ice cream and chocolate ice cream--using small round containers slihtly thawed . I can't remember if there was also a layer of vanilla ice cream. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanx--Mary
