ISO: Italian Christmas cookies - the nametranslates as Little Lord's pants
Misc.My sister-in-law, who is Italian-American told me about a traditional Italian Christmas cookie that she remembers from her childhood, but now can't find a recipe for. The cookie is shaped like a little pair of pants; I think it's rolled into a strip and then folded at an angle making two pant legs. i don't remeber the name in Italian, but she said it translates to Little Lord's Pants. The recipe uses the grapes that are used in wine making. They might be fermented. It sounds complicated, so if anyone has either the traditional recipe or an updated (simplified) version I'd love to hear from you. It would be so cool to surprise my sister-in-law!
Thanks!
Thanks!
