ISO: Kazakhstan Korean Vegetarian Food

Misc.
I went to Southern Kazakhstan about 10 years ago and tried some of the local Korean food bought in a farmers' market where there were hundreds of food stalls operated by Koreans. One of the thing I tried and loved was something vegetarian with shredded carrots, and vegetables in red pepper sauce, sesame oil, etc. Some even had noodles in them. I tried to search for this recipe, and found that it is similar to the 'Kimchee' but not exactly. May be it is unique in that area and eaten by Korean people in Kazakhstan. Appreciate if anyone can give me the recipe.
