ISO: Looking for a Terrific Apple Butter Recipe!

Hi Everyone,

I am saearching for a terrific Apple Butter Recipe...one that is smooth, thick, spicy and dark and bursting with flavor!!

I brought home a bushel of Rome apples from the mountains and want to begin canning these for Christmas gifts.

Hope there is a yummy recipe out there for me to try!!
