ISO: Make ahead side dishes for Holiday Ham

Help, I'm 9 months pregnant and my in-laws have decided to come for Christmas! It's wonderful that we'll have family!, but I need some wonderful side dishes to make on Christmas eve that I can just pop in the oven on Christmas Day. I'm thinking some kind of scalloped potato, and maybe a spinach dish. Also a hot fruit dish, maybe pineapple, or apple crisp of some sort. Any ideas? thanks! Jill
