SPRY PIE CRUST
FOR SINGLE BOTTOM CRUST:
1/2 cup less 1 tbsp Spry shortening
3 tbsp boiling water
1 tsp milk
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
Whip shortening, water, and milk together until the mixture looks like stiffly whipped cream.
Sift together flour and salt; stir into shortening mixture. Roll between wax paper. Place in pie plate.
Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes (or fill and bake as recipe directed).
FOR DOUBLE CRUST:
3/4 cup Spry shortening
