ISO: Mrs Smith's type cheesecake (more cakey, less cheesy)

Misc.
I too have been searching for the elusive mrs Smith's type cheesecake. To me it was more cakey and less cheesy. Grew up in NEPA and have not had decent cheesecake since I left in the 70's All the cheesecakes now are lumps of flavored cream cheese. I tried many times to make it with no luck. I'll have to try one of these chiffon recepies. There is a bakery here owned by a lady from Pittsburg that makes cheesecake occasionally and it is more like Mrs Smith's than most but she wouldn't share the recipe.
