ISO: Nanaimo Bars

Please help me find the ultimate Nanaimo bars that have a soft fudgy base with great flavor. None of our Yankee cookbooks have this recipe and most of the ones I have tried have a hard crumbly base. A lady who recently deceased used to make these for my work and now I have learned a valuable lesson in procrastination!
