ISO: Need rose cake recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for rose cake? I don't mean a pound cake flavored with rose water or old-timey recipes calling for rose water where we now use vanilla- I mean delicious, rich, syrupy rose cake such as I've had in an Indian restaurant. It is a dense, rich cake. Please help!
