ISO: Old-Fashioned Poundcake

My Mom made this cake for over 70 years, but we cannot find HER recipe anywhere. She made in a tube pan. It was very yellow and moist inside, with dark brown thick crust. Wrapped in alumiunum foil, it stayed moist for weeks, unless we could find it's hiding place. We'd love to be able to recreate this terrific cake! Please help.
