ISO: Perogies, Polish Sausage, and? - Wife's after exam work party...plz help!

Misc.
OK, the deal is: 30-40 office-type people are coming over saturday night for a night of drinks and socializing. Whenever anyone else has a party they spend lots on food (which my wife hates to do)and make things I havn't eaten before.
So..I am not planning on making anything too exciting..I have a 16 quart roaster oven with a buffet style insert..so far I am planning perogies and polish sausage in 2 of the 3 serving trays..what makes sence to go in the third?? Also, I was thinking it may be a neat idea to utilize my trusty crockpot (as I am not much of a cook I like to rely on simple crockpot recipes!)..I saw an idea for a party stew that sounded ok, but the recipe made a very small portion...I am not stuck on making a stew and am open to anything, I just liked the idea it would stay warm for hours throughout the party, what would you profesionals do?? ThAnKs in advance for any help!!
