ISO: Pineapple cake using buttermilk used in the cake and icing

This recipie was in a woman's magazine about 15 yrs ago, maybe longer. It was probably Woman's Day, Family Circle, or maybe Good Housekeeping. It has 3 layers and each layer is brushed with Karo syrup while warm. The icing has pineapple in it. Buttermilk is used in both the cake and the icing. I don't remember the other ingredients but it was very moist and the best cake I've ever tasted.
