ISO: pineapple upsidedown cake - question

HI. I don't normally do much cooking, but with lockdown got time on my hands. so I'm going to make a pineapple upside down cake. I have found various recipes for it on the internet. some of which include eggs and some are egg free. I thought all cakes have egg in them. just wondering is it best to go with or without the eggs. thanks in advance.
