ISO: Pumkin Soup , made with canned pumkin

Misc.
Hello, I am trying to find a recipe for pumkin soup. The only time I tried this soup we were on a cruse. It was servered in a bowl,& it was served hot. I asked our waiter "What is in this " He told me "canned pumkin & chickin broth". I think there is probably more to it. It was on the creamy side. I hope you can help. Thank you for takeing the time to read this,& trying to help me. Every recipe that I have found used real pumkin. I am sorry, but I am afraid that I am not that great of a cook. Good Luck,Linda
