SandwichesBEEF AND BEAN SLOPPY JOES
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (16 oz.) can Van Camp's pork and beans
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
6 hamburger buns
Brown ground beef and onion in 10 inch skillet; drain.
Stir in beans and barbecue sauce. Simmer about 15 minutes or until thickened.
Serve on hamburger buns.
Makes 6 sandwiches

2 lb. hamburger
1/4 cups oil
2 cups chopped onions
2 cans (1 lb. each) pork & beans
1 3/4 cups (18 oz. bottle) Open Pit BBQ sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 cup water
hamburger buns
Brown meat in oil. Put in large kettle.
Saute onions until tender. Add to meat. Then add beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard and water. Bring to boil. Simmer 10 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns. Serve with dill pickles and carrot sticks, if desired.
Makes 8 cups or 12 sandwiches
