ISO: Questions about Shaker Lemon Pie
Misc. Have any of you had experience with this pie? I want to try it but would like to know what the finished pie looks like? what is the texture of the filling? it seems like so little filling for a two pie crust. what happens to the top crust? does it fall? The recipes i found all use 2 lemons, 2 cups of sugar, 4 eggs. Can i use less sugar? we like tart things.
