ISO: Recipe for Peach Hull Preserves
Misc.My mother used to make these Peach Hull Preserves, maybe 50+ years ago. Best I ever tasted! She said you had to have really nice, flavorful and blemish free peaches or cut out any bad places. The hulls are peeled off and chopped up pretty small so that you don't end up with too big of a "chunk" of the hull when you spread them. I'm thinking that they were made from the peeled off leftovers of canning peaches?
