ISO: red gravy mix?

A Mexican friend told me to make enchaladas using a red gravy mix that I could buy in the same size small canisters that spices are sold in.
It was a powered mix that made the most delicious red gravy. I can't find it any more! Does anyone know the brand name so I could look for it online? Or does anyone know how I can make red gravy from scratch? It wasn't spicy hot. Just very good. thanks
