ISO: sour kraut in a laarge crock

I am in search of the old fashion sour kraut that my grandmother and mother
put into a large 10 -15 gallon crocks in the cellar to make. They weightd
the chopped cabbage down with a special rock that they saved from one year tao the next just for that purpose. I will take any sour kraut recipe that you have if not this one and maybe it will still be good. Just remembering the
flavor of yester-days. Thanks in advance of any help you can give.
I just ran across this board and now I am ancious to look and see whats
on here.
