Recipe(tried): Poodle Cake Idea

Desserts - Cakes
I am getting ready to do a poodle party for my daughter's first birthday. Wilton cakes has a Playful Puppy cake pan that I used for my son's first birthday. It was a brown puppy, but it can also be decorated as a dalmation or a poodle. The brown puppy cake turned out well. It put in on top of a large rectangular cake since the party was going to have quite a few people. I decorated the rectangular cake with green frosting and coconut(dyed green with food coloring). Next, I used a bone shaped cookie cutter to make a bone cake. The puppy looked like he was about to eat the bone. The bone served as my son's individual cake. As for my daughter, I was thinking about having the poodle chasing a pink ball.
