ISO: Sourdoughbread/potato flake starter!

I think this recipe is great...but 1 12 cups very warm water??
should that not read 1 1/2 cups very warm water?? And you Do keep
the starter in the frig...or just the amount you are to use for
the recipe? I am slightly confused on this!
